Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe tied the knot in Udaipur last month in a private and intimate ceremony! Taapsee hasn’t even dropped the first photos and videos of her wedding, however, her bridal entry video and sangeet videos have gone viral on the internet. In a video which was shared by a user on Reddit, Taapsee could be seen dressed in a red kurta and salwar with heavy jardosi work, red choodas, kaleeras – making a perfect Punjabi bride, which is so different from all the weddings we’ve seen so far.
Meanwhile, what has won the internet is Taapsee’s unusual choice of her bridal entry song.She opted for the original Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh‘s ‘Tappe’ – ‘Kothe te aa mahiya’ which brings significant feeing to the heart along with nostalgia. Taapsee can be seen singing it along and her vibrant mode while arriving for the ‘varmala’ on this song has left everyone impressed! Fashion police Diet Sabya gave her a 10/10 for this choice of song and many others also cannot stop gushing over this one!
Mathias could be seen on a cycle at the wedding! Not many Bollywood celebrities were part of the event. Taapsee’s ‘Thappad’ co-star Pavail Gulati, writer-producer Kanika Dhillon, Anurag Kashyap were among the few who attended the wedding.
In her first post-wedding interview, Taapsee spoke to Elle and said that she has this new found love for life which is outside her career. She values her time and will be very careful about the kind of projects which she chooses to be a part of!
Taapsee and Mathias were dating for a decade almost before they finally decided to tie the knot!
